Lotus Notes server administration from Mobile phone

Vladislavs Tatarincevs  17 June 2008 16:12:32
Hello,
I started a new project, a Domino server administration from a mobile phone.
I am a Domino technical consultant, when I am away from the office, I need to watch my servers.
This weekend I had a Domino migration project, and  to check server status I have to be always near my notebook and internet. With the mobile phone you can check it from anywhere.

With with Mini Mobile Admin, I can check server uptime, mail status, users.
If necessary I can restart tasks, and do other things.

I plan to make first beta at the next of this week.
please post comments what functionality you will be interested in.

I plan to ship to version, one freeware for read only access, if you need some interaction with the server, like trigger replication or restart server you will need another commercial version.
Anyway, I think freeware version will be valuable for every admin :)

Hi Vlad,

i meet you in Dublin during your session.

That's a good idea, administer Domino by phone!

One question, the device N80 it's the only or it' possible, for example, to use with N70!

I'll be tuned, because your ide it's very, very interesting.

I candidate myself to be a beta tester for italian LN Admin.

Bye

Hi, thanks for post.

You can use any phone which has browser.

iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia, HTC or any other.

it is not a WML, but just regular HTML page generated by Domino.

I plan to SYNC ACL between this db and webadmin.nsf (Server document, security tab, Administrator field)
