Notes Smart Upgrade does not prompt users to upgrade

Hi,
When I do customer upgrade to Domino new version, I use Active Directory or SmartUpgrade, I like more SmartUpgrade because it is Domino, and I have more control over it :))))))

The bad things, that some times SmartUpgrade is not triggered, and when DEADLINE is passed I think there is no option to FORCE user to upgrade.
I found a technote in IBM Web which shows, why SmartUpgrade is not triggered, so there are two parameters are missing.

 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem
In Lotus Notes, you find that Smart Upgrade does not prompt users to upgrade. There are no log files generated in the \Lotus\Notes\Data\IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder.

You are able to launch Smart Upgrade manually on the affected workstations and perform the upgrades.

Cause
Checking the notes.ini file of the affected workstations show that the "InstallType" parameter is blank.

Diagnosing the problem
The number "6" was added for multiuser but this did not resolve the issue. The "Kitype" parameter was also blank.

Resolving the problem
To resolve this issue, add the number "1" to the "Kitype". The users will then be prompted for the upgrade.

Also check the Home/Mail Server field in the Location document. If it's not in hierarchical format (Homemail/YourDomain) it won't work. I've found mail servers listed as Homemail.YourDomain.com and even by IP address before.
