I was inspired by Paul Mooney, http://pmooney.net/ he described ID vault Functionality which was introduced on Lotusphere 2008.

Now at last,  we can play with it.

Configuration process is rather simple :) I hope this may encourage you to do it yourself :)

First of all check that you have idvault.ntf template on your Domino server, else when you click finish, installation will fail. :(
Just Navigate to Configuration Tab->Tools>ID Vault.

Supply your organization, in majority of cases this will be the only one, you can split it in several OU units as well.

Then specify WHO is ALLOWED to reset password to Users, in case you are the person who will reset password, you can set "Self-service password reset authority", this mean if you request to reset password for your self, server will reset your password by agent.

Next, we need to push this thought policy to users.

Here we need to supply existing Domino Settings and policy.

Could you add a section on how user will use this functionality ? User forgot their password -- then where do they click, what information appeared ... and so on and so forth ?
